An indoor road biking experience
Athlete Lab is an indoor cycling facility located in the heart of the
CBD. The facility caters not just to the men and women working around
the area but also to pro triathletes, cyclists and just about anyone,
from amateurs that are looking for a good workout to those preparing
for major races. Athlete Lab pride themselves in using real bikes and
incorporating real time ride data such as watts, heart rate, distance
travelled, Functional Threshold Power and much more. The amount of
data they offer to their athletes is unprecedented. Riders that train
in the lab just have to bring their-selves. Showers, towels, water
bottles and cycling shoes are all provided.
Real time data for your training needs
Riders first get fitted on the bike, followed by looking at their
name on the screen showcasing their real time data such as watts,
w/kg, speed, heart rate. The benefit of training with power is that
it’s the most accurate representation of how hard an individual is
going rather than just training by feel.
